Introit for the First Sunday After Christmas
The silent prayer retreat forms the heart of the contemplative training on offer at Cloud-Bearing Mountain Christian Retreat and Training Center. Participants enter into a deep and regenerative silence, punctuated by the chanting of the psalms at morning, noon, and evening prayer services. A daily period of silent work helps us to carry our prayer into everyday activities.
Participants have an opportunity to receive individual spiritual direction during the program.
Because of the intensive nature of the silent prayer retreat, we generally ask prospective participants to first attend the Introduction to the Theology and Practice of Contemplative Prayer retreat. Contact us to discuss.
