Holy Transfiguration Silent Prayer Retreat

The Transfiguration of Jesus, which we celebrate on August 19, occurs in the context of prayer. We are told that Jesus took his three closest disciples and led them up onto a mountain to pray. In this same spirit, we will gather during these days to devote ourselves to cultivating inner silence and prayer of the heart. All participants have an opportunity to receive individual spiritual direction during the program. This is a longer silent retreat offered for those people who really wish to sink into their practice; participants must attend the entire retreat.
