Paschal Triduum Silent Prayer Retreat

Immerse yourself in the poignant liturgies of the Three Holy Days (triduum) through which one loves, suffers, dies, and rises again in union with Christ. This silent prayer retreat culminates in the stirring and lovely Great Vigil of Pascha (Easter) service and the Pascha morning mass, followed by a festive dinner. Those of you who may have already celebrated Pascha according to the Western calendar are most welcome to come celebrate with us. This especially may be attractive to those of you in ministry who were engaged during the Western celebrations; now you can now enjoy your own Pascha retreat. The silent prayer retreat forms the heart of the contemplative training on offer at Cloud-Bearing Mountain. Participants enter into a deep and regenerative silence, punctuated by the chanting of the psalms at morning, noon, and evening prayer services, and a daily period of silent work helps us to carry our prayer into everyday activities. Orthodox participants have an opportunity to take advantage of the Sacrament of Confession, and all can receive individual spiritual direction, during the program.
